| What attracted you to the Sunflex product range? |
| About five years ago we bought an old house in a beautiful water front position, and needed to refurbish and adapt it for wheelchair use and accessibility. We wanted to take advantage of the river views and be able to access the balcony with French windows and the terrace (without steps or bumps) with bi-folding doors.
Because of our location it was important for the windows and doors to look attractive, but we also had to consider durability. Being in an exposed position we wanted to make sure that they were maintenance friendly and able to cope with cold easterly winds, salty air, occasional hot sunshine and the inevitable Devon rain.
Our son researched all national and local window supply companies, and actually went to see the products and compared prices. It was going to be an expensive project whoever supplied the windows and doors, so it was essential that we chose a specialist we could rely on - to recommend the products, advise us on style and colour, measure accurately, and fit correctly. |

| Fortunately, his research led him to a local company – just the other side of the River Dart – who proved to be very knowledgeable and helpful at the early stages of our quest for information. Devonshire Windows showed us samples of the windows & doors they supplied and details of the manufacturers. They came to our house, looked at our plans, and gave us useful advice on the products that would fit our needs.
Our confidence was further increased when we returned to their office and discussed all possible options in detail. They were patient, helpful and professional. Eventually, when measurements were taken, styles and colours chosen, e.t.c, we received a detailed quotation. Yes, it was expensive, but they advised on a few changes that slightly reduced costs.
We agreed to proceed. Further measurements were taken (very carefully), and they discussed details with the builder to co-ordinate time and schedules of build - the order was confirmed.
The windows and doors were built and delivered on time, installed efficiently with no problems, and five years later still look like new. We have been pleased to pass on our recommendations to friends and relations, and they in turn have been impressed with the products & service of Devonshire Windows. |
